Average size is approximately 1/4" to 1/2", size will vary. ACCLIMATION NOTES Although it's often assumed snails don't need acclimation, THEY DO! A common mistake it to just "throw 'em in", which can cause damage that may result in their eventual demise. All snails are sensitive to changes in specific gravity and temperature and should always be acclimated to your aquarium just like fish or corals. |
