| Fast Facts | PLEASE NOTE This item is not covered by our live arrival guarantee One of the most demanding species of anemones in the aquarium, this species is best left to anemone experts who are comfortable with some risk. It is photosynthetic and requires very bright lighting and strong currents. This Anemone can be difficult in even the best-maintained reef aquariums. May benefit from supplemental feeding of finely chopped meaty seafoods in tanks where fish are not fed. Prefers rock substrate, but this is not mandatory. Specimens vary in color, in shades of blue-gray, lavender or greenish. The colors are not too different from one another. Like all anemones, size will vary from smaller when you receive them, to notably larger until they have adjusted to your aquarium for a period of weeks. |
