This smaller species is an ideal reef fish that was completely unknown to the trade until only a few years ago. So obscure was this species with its limited range in nature, even fairy wrasse fanatics didn't know it's Latin name when first introduced! This fish can be kept in small groups, but be sure to introduce them into your aquarium simultaneously. A generally peaceful this peaceful little fish, this species should not be kept with aggressive tankmates and should be provided with numerous places to hide. It is a durable fish that usually does very well in captivity once it acclimates. For similar sized fairy wrasses that are more frequently available, also check out the
