Twelve Line Wrasse

Twelve Line Wrasse

Latin Name Paracheilinus tetrataenia
Common Name Twelve Line Wrasse
Also known as Four Line Wrasse
Fast Facts Also known as the Four Line Wrasse, this hard to find fish is occasionally exported from Hawaii and Micronesia. Although diminutive, it may behave aggressively toward smaller, peaceful species. You should add more passive tankmates to the tank before introducing this wrasse. It is not as pugnacious as some of its relatives, such as the Sixline Wrasse, which is also much more frequently available. You can keep more than one in the same tank if the aquarium is large, packed with hiding places and the individuals are introduced simultaneously.
