Fast Facts This striking species can be easily identified by the red borders on the margins of the median fins. Cirrhilabrus rubrimarginatus is so named for the red margin on its tail. Not well known among hobbyists, this is a great looking species that is often overlooked for more common species. All species of Cirrhilabrus are plankton feeders and have no interest in corals, clams, etc. and make ideal, peaceful choices for the reef aquarium. Provide plenty of shelter and swimming space. Average size is around 2"-4".

Diet and Feeding Feed a varied diet of frozen prepared foods, minced fresh table shrimp, and a good flake food. Feed at least twice a day.
