A super popular and perfect reef aquarium fish, the average size of the Candy Hog is only about 2", maximum size in nature is around 4". May eat very small shrimps, etc, but it is otherwise reef safe. Generally a relatively peaceful community fish, but may bother exceptionally docile, similarly shaped fishes such as Firefish or Flasher Wrasses. Virtually unknown to trade until the late 90's, the Candy Hog has become a tremendously popular reef aquarium fish. |
