Described only in 1999, The Blue Flasher Wrasse is new to the trade! These wonderful fish make a fascinating display in the peaceful community tank. One of the most popular fish for a reef tank! Can be kept in groups in large tanks. It is typically not aggressive toward non-related species, although large males may chase other zooplankton feeders. Males are most spectacular when they "flash" (display) toward other fishes or their reflections in the aquarium glass.
Sizes Specimens are around 1.5"-3"
Range in Nature Indonesia
Minimum Aquarium Size 20
Diet and Feeding Feeds on zooplankton. Feed a varied diet including frozen prepared foods for carnivores and herbivores, minced seafoods.
