Undulate Triggerfish

Undulate Triggerfish

Latin Name Balistapus undulatus
Common Name Undulate Triggerfish
Also known as Orangelined Triggerfish, Orangetailed Triggerfish
Fast Facts This is lovely fish is one of the most belligerent off all marine fishes. It is attractive, extremely hardy and has a great behavioral repertoire. It does best if kept in an aquarium on its own. It can be kept with other aggressive species. Even so, it is likely that your undulated trigger may attack its tankmates sooner or later. This fish is often shy when initially introduced to the aquarium, hiding in preferred shelter site when you first enter the room. But, with time many specimens will begin to associate their caretaker with food, it will welcome your arrival and swim near the water's surface waiting for a tasty morsel. It is also notorious for rearranging the décor of the aquarium. Despite these traits, it is a great aquarium fish that can thrive for many years in an aquarium.
