Fast Facts This infrequently available and distinctive tang is also known as the scissortail tang. Its normal coloration is an attractive blue-gray, which can change quickly to a much darker or lighter shade, depending on its mood. This is one of the less demanding and least aggressive members of the Acanthurus clan who's need are easily met in a well maintained aquarium. Provide this active fish with plenty of swimming room, as well as plenty of hiding places. This tang is rarely available, so unless you're very patient you may want to check out other tangs. Be sure to order this one fast because they're not often available and never plentiful.

Diet and Feeding Herbivore, provide with a varied diet that includes frozen and flake foods for herbivores as well as dried algae sheets. Also eat some zooplankton.
