Fast Facts Common Name Harlequin Sweetlips Also known as Clown Sweetlips, Spotted Sweetlips Fast Facts The juveniles of this species are exquisite, with a reddish-brown body and large black-edge, white spots on the body and fins. The adults are white with small black spots on most of the body and the fins. The juveniles of this delicate species exhibit both an interesting color pattern and swimming behavior. They swim by paddling with their oversized pectoral fins and undulating their bodies. Juveniles must be kept with nonaggressive tankmates that will pick on them or snap up all food added before they have a chance to feed. Feeding is often a problem with this species. It needs plenty of swimming room. Provide a cave or ledge this fish can refuge under.
