| Fast Facts |
Dogface Puffers make great aquarium fish. They have lots of personality and make one of the best "pet" fish. It is a smaller member of the genus and better suited to the home aquarium than some of its congeners. In nature it tends to occur in habitats such as sand flats and sand slopes. It is a rather shy fish when first added to the aquarium, therefore you will need to provide appropriate crevices or caves for it to hide in. With time, it will spend more time in the open, becoming a great aquarium fish. |
