Fast Facts This exotic fish is chocolate brown with white spots on the head and body. This species is extremely hardy, rarely succumbing to disease or poor water quality. When initially introduced into the aquarium this fish is very shy. With time and conditioning, this fish will spend more time in view and some specimens will even beg for food when you approach the aquarium. Keep in a tank with numerous nooks and crannies for it to hide in. keep only one per tank, unless aquarium is very large. This is a demersal spawner that lays an egg ball under ledges or holes.
