Twinspot Signal Goby

Latin Name Signigobius biocellatus
Common Name Twinspot Signal Goby
Also known as Signal Goby, Crabeye Goby, 4 wheel Drive Goby
Fast Facts The Twinspot (a.k.a Signal) Goby is mottled brown, with big black pelvic fins and two distinct eyes spots (one on each of the two dorsal fins.) This fish can be difficult to keep in the aquariums without live rock and live sand. To increase your success with this fish it is important to keep it in a tank with live sand on the bottom. If you want a goby that is an excellent sand sifter and very hardy, check out the Dragon Goby. Do not keep with any remotely aggressive fishes, including food competitors.
