Fast Facts This is a popular goby species, and is also frequently available in the marine fish trade. The body is covered with orange spots, and it has a tall dorsal fin. These fishes are well suited for aquarium life. They are not aggressive, except possibly towards conspecifics or towards other bottom-dwelling fishes, except for those that try to enter their preferred hiding place. Provide them with suitable hiding places and beware that they may jump out of an open aquarium when startled. Shares a burrow with one or more snapping shrimp (Alpheus spp.).
