| Fast Facts | This is one of more frequently available shrimp-goby species. There are a number of different members of the genus Amblyeleotris that are sold as "banded watchman gobies." The husbandry of all these species is very similar. These fishes are well suited for aquarium life. They are not aggressive, except possibly towards conspecifics or towards other bottom-dwelling fishes, except for those that try to enter their preferred hiding place. Provide them with suitable hiding places including sand and/or gravel for constricting burrows. Shares a burrow with one or more snapping shrimp (Alpheus spp.). | ||||||
