The bicolor goatfish that is deep red on the front of the body and head and yellow, while the rear half of the body is white with some yellow. There are also two white stripes sweeping back from the head. This species needs plenty of swimming space, and should also be housed with non-aggressive tankmates. This species is usually indifferent toward its tankmates. Can keep more than one per tank, but you should add them simultaneously. This species will grub in the substrate and help stir-up detritus that has collected there. Provide with plenty of open bottom space, and a sand substrate (preferably "live sand"). |
