Tomato Clown

Tomato Clown

Latin Name Amphiprion frenatus
Common Name Tomato Clown
Also known as Tomato Clownfish, Cinnamon Clownfish, Cinnamon clown
Fast Facts Although beautiful, this species can be very belligerent, striking out at peaceful tankmates (especially smaller clownfishes). Makes a good community fish if housed in a tank with moderately aggressive tankmates, with or without an anemone. Although they do so less than some of their relatives, this species easily succumbs to Clownfish Disease (Brooklynella hostilis). Naturally occurs in Bubble Anemones (easy to keep) and Sebae Anemones (difficult to keep). .

PLEASE NOTE: This is a restricted species and is not covered by our live arrival guarantee. Although clownfish can be hardy, they ship notoriously poorly and are very susceptible to Clownfish Disease (Brooklynella hostilis).
