This highly prized species is collected only from the Great Barrier Reef, although has been reported from other areas. Australian collectors are among the most conscientious on the planet, and it shows in the quality of their fish. Scribbled Angels can do great when properly cared for. This Angelfish is unlikely to mistaken for any other. They're blue with thin bright blue "scribbles" on the dorsal and anal fins, a bright yellow tail and a yellow band on the back. There is also a blue band through the eye and a white area behind it. Large Males Scribbled Angels are particularly spectacular, and one of the most popular angels among rare fish enthusiasts. Provide plenty of swimming room, and at least several good hiding places. Once it has adjusted to aquarium life it can become quite boisterous, but generally makes a good community aquarium fish. Keep only one per tank.
