This butterfly is relatively hardy and generally reef safe. It usually will accept most foods offered, including finely chopped seafood, frozen or live brine shrimp, frozen preparations and even flake food. It should be housed in a large tank with plenty of swimming room. Lots of water movement will also be appreciated. Keep it singly, in pairs or in small groups. It is more likely to acclimate to its new home if it is not pestered by its tankmates, although once it has fully adjusted to life in captivity, moderately bold fishes can be introduced. |
