Fast Facts This species gets one of its common names from the branching cirri over each eye. Its overall coloration is variable, but most are brown with light mottling. Like most other blennies, it spends most of its time in repose on the substrate. It does best if the aquarium has healthy microalgae growth. It can be aggressive towards other blennies, especially conspecifics and closely related forms. Keep only one per tank, unless your aquarium is very large.
