This seldom-available species is collected primarily from Africa. Availability is highly unpredictable, and they're never plentiful, so be sure to order them fast when in stock. Like others in the genus, it spends most of its times swimming or hovering in the water column. It is often seen hanging above the substrate, with its head down, searching for food. It is usually ignored by its tankmates, but can defend itself if attacked. This species will ignore its tankmates, with the possible exception of close relatives and members of its own kind. |
