PLEASE NOTE: This is a restricted species and is not covered by our live arrival guarantee.
This attractive fish is often reluctant to feed in the aquarium, with live brine shrimp often being needed to induce a feeding response. They are also susceptible to being picked on by more aggressive tankmates. It is best kept in groups, consisting of six or more females and a single male, although this should only be attempted by more accomplished fish-keepers. Provide clean, well oxygenated water, along with plenty of water movement and open swimming space. It may acclimate more readily if housed in a dimly-lit tank.
