Princess Anthias

Princess Anthias

Latin Name Pseudanthias smithvanizi
Common Name Princess Anthias
Also known as Smithvaniz's Anthias
Fast Facts Rarely seen in the aquarium trade the Princess Anthias is pink with numerous yellow spots and a red stripe down the back. Be sure to jump on them fast when available as they sell quickly. Like many anthias, it can be reluctant to feed in the aquarium, with live brine shrimp often being needed to induce a feeding response. This a passive species which should only be kept with exceptionally peaceful tankmates. Like all anthias, it does best in groups consisting of one male and several females. Provide clean, well oxygenated water, along with plenty of water movement and open swimming space.
