Hutchii Anthias

Hutchii Anthias

Latin Name Pseudanthias huchtii
Common Name Hutchii Anthias
Also known as Red Cheek Anthias, Green Anthias
Fast Facts Male Hutchi Anthias are green with a red line on their cheek and are greenish-yellow overall with red margins on the fins. Females are yellowish-orange or greenish orange with orange stripes on their cheeks. This is one of the hardier anthias species, as well as one of the boldest anthias, therefore it is best to keep solitary individuals, unless you have a very large aquarium (e.g. 150 gallons or larger). Because of its bold nature it should not be kept with other species of anthias species. Provide plenty of water movement and open swimming space. AVAILABILITY NOTE
This fish is not particularly rare, however, it is not often available, and never plentiful, so jump on them fast when available.
