Carberry Anthias

Carberry Anthias

Latin Name Nemanthias carberryi
Common Name Carberry Anthias
Also known as Threadfin Anthias
Fast Facts This lavender and yellow beauty is occasionally exported from the Maldives. Rarely available to the trade. It will do best in a roomy tank with nonaggressive tankmates that is replete with hiding places. Like all anthias, it is best kept in a group consisting of one male and several females. Also like many anthias, live foods may be necessary to induce feeding. Introducing this fish into a tank that already contains a well-established shoal of less aggressive anthias may facilitate its acclimation. Provide clean, well oxygenated water, along with plenty of water movement and open swimming space.
