Collected primarily from the Marshall Islands, the Multicolor Pygmy Angel is found on deep reefs of the Central and South Pacific. As for all members of the genus, a growth of filamentous algae or live rock may facilitate acclimation. This is a hardy aquarium fish that should be provided with plenty of hiding places. It might behave aggressively towards pygmy angels introduced after it, although this is less of a concern if kept in a larger aquarium. Average size is 1.5"-2.5"
