African shipments are historically sporadic, highly unpredictable. Chrysurus sell very fast and we always have customers waiting for this fish, so don't hesitate when available, as they're few and far between!

Collected only around Kenya, Africa, Pomacanthus chrysurus is one of only a handful of fishes imported from the area. Limited selection, logistics headaches and high freight costs make African fishes scarce on the US market. The Chrysurus Angel is the most sought after export. Although hardy, it typically doesn't adjust to captivity quite as quickly as other members of this hardy genus. Typically requiring expert handling after import, we give exotic fish such as the Chrysurus the extra care they need before you receive them. Also known as "Ear Spot Angel".
