| Fast Facts | One of the best soft corals for the aquarium, Xenia fares best in medium to very bright lighting, and strong water movement, directed around the coral (not drilling directly into the coral). These soft corals, (often referred to as polyps) can grow quickly in the right environment. Supplemental feeding can stimulate growth, but be sure not to over do it. The "pumping" action often touted is not something that is constant, nor is it something that typically jumps out at you, but this is a stunning coral! Pom Pom Xenia can expand considerably once fully adjusted to the aquarium. This coral is never plenfiful and always in demand, so be sure to order order fast when available. PLEASE NOTE: This is a restricted species and is not covered by our live arrival guarantee. While they can do great, but they're somewhat delicate shippers that require expert care, particularly initially. |
