| Fast Facts | One of the best soft corals for the aquarium, this variety of Xenia is known in the trade as 'Super Blue Xenia'. Since we don't want to over sell it, we'll just call it "Blue Xenia" and say it is indeed really nice stuff! It fares best in medium to very bright lighting, and strong water movement, directed around the coral (not drilling directly into the coral). These soft corals, (often referred to as polyps) can grow quickly in the right environment. Supplemental feeding can stimulate growth, but be sure not to over do it. Actinic lighting will help bring out the color of "blue" Xenia. |
