One of the hardier corals obtainable, Fox Coral can thrive in a wide range of conditions. Acclimates best in low to medium water flow and preferably indirect light of medium to low lighting intensity, although it can adapt to a wide variety of conditions. Pieces are off white to greenish color, the skeleton is very thin and tall, with tissue that, in time, can expand much larger than the skeleton if conditions are right. Large pieces are seldom collected, while medium and small pieces are regularly available. An excellent coral for beginners and experts alike. |
